Research - two years to complete and to be of publishable quality (Canada), or, to be
published (USA)
Board Examinations - three written & one oral, administered by American Chiropractic
Rehabilitation Board
Subsequent Years
After completion, and in addition to the continuing education requirements all general
chiropractic doctors must fufill, a specialist must also:
Teach at least 12 hours per year in a post graduate programme, or
Teach a minimum 12 hours a year to undergraduate students, or
Write a paper suitable for publication not less than 2000 words, or
Write and submit for evaluation two case reports, or
Complete an equivalency approved by the CCRS Education Committee,
or
Attend an annual ACRB scientific symposium.
